Powerline trains two traditional methods of Live Line Maintenance
at your utility locations: 

• Live Line Tool Techniques (Hotsticking)
• Live Line Bare-hand Techniques

Training on voltages ranging from 15KV to 745 KV
This training can be conducted under de-energized or energized conditions, whichever is appropriate for the customer. 

40 Hours Specialized Training includes:

 Live Line Tool Principles (Hotsticking) and Procedures
Classroom Curriculum: 8 hours - Field Training: 32 hours

  80 Hours Specialized Training includes: 

Hotsticking and Bare hand Principles and Procedures:
Classroom Curriculum:  16 hours - Field Training: 64 hours

The linemen will be provided with the knowledge and shown the skills necessary to perform Live Line and Bare-Hand work, no matter what method is to be employed.   Upon completion of all classroom sessions there will be extensive field training starting with basic work techniques and advancing to more technique procedures.
